What is MCP, in plain English?
MCP (Model Context Protocol) is an open standard that lets AI apps use outside tools. MCP SMM is an MCP server: once you add it to your AI app, the assistant can work with the YouTube and TikTok accounts you connected, instead of guessing from screenshots you paste in.
Is MCP SMM another AI chatbot?
No. Your conversations stay in the AI app you already use. MCP SMM is the connection between that app and your social accounts. It doesn’t write content itself. Your AI does.
Which AI apps work with it?
Claude: add MCP SMM as a custom connector. ChatGPT: add it in developer mode on eligible plans. Grok: use remote MCP tools in the xAI API with an API key you create in MCP SMM. Other apps work if they support remote MCP servers with OAuth.
Does my AI act without asking me?
Actions run on your accounts when your AI calls a tool. Claude and ChatGPT ask you to confirm write actions first. Every action lands in your activity log, direct TikTok posts are confirmed on mcpsmm.com, and you can switch off any tool you don’t want your AI to use.
Do I share my passwords?
No. You connect through the official Google and TikTok sign-in, so we never see your passwords. You can revoke access anytime, in MCP SMM or in your Google and TikTok settings.
What data do you keep?
Encrypted access tokens for the accounts you connect, an activity log for 90 days, and files you upload for publishing for 14 days. Whatever your AI reads through a tool is shared with the AI app you use.
